Precision Agriculture

Precision agriculture (PA) is a farming management strategy based on observing, measuring, and responding to variability within a field to increase productivity and sustainability. It uses a variety of technologies, including GPS, sensors, remote sensing, and variable rate application equipment, to collect and analyze data about the field and its conditions. This data is then used to make informed decisions about crop management, such as when and where to apply fertilizer, water, or pesticides.
