Anyone clinically determined to have diabetes runs a better than the common possibility of developing dementia. An article in the journal Neurology found on the incidence of dementia in a village of more than 1000 individuals examined by researchers at Kyushu Faculty. Between 1988 and 2003, twenty seven per cent of individuals with diabetes were diagnosed with dementia, as opposed to just twenty per cent of people which are nutritious.
Results of an additional study from Kyushu University, reported in the journal Neurology during September 2011, looked at how good individuals had the ability to handle high sugar and the risk of theirs of dementia. One 1000 and seventeen individuals who had been a minimum of sixty years of age, were in the research project and provided an oral glucose tolerance test. The test determined exactly how effectively the participants’ bodies had the ability to get blood sugar levels down to normal after they were provided sugar by mouth. After 15 years…
were seen significantly more often in individuals with diabetes than in non diabetic participants. All those with higher blood sugar levels 2 hours after consuming sugar had a higher risk of dementia compared to those whose blood sugar levels returned to normal after 2 hours.

The job of insulin is helping cells soak up sugar to use it for power, and when cells are reluctant to insulin they’re powerless to soak in very high sugar and burn up it. Thankfully, Type two diabetes is amenable to lifestyle changes which can greatly enhance insulin sensitivity.
Another study again… in August 2011, the journal Metabolism reported the end result of a study performed on much better insulin sensitivity carried away at the Faculty Institute of Pneumology as well as Cardiology in Quebec, Canada. One hundred and four men with:
